Why I started this coach training program
It's truly an honor to have you interested in this program as we explore what it means to be an International Coaching Federation (ICF) credentialed coach with a unique start-up lens. Throughout the program, you will join others in an immersive educational environment while putting your coach knowledge to practice.
But first, a bit of history of who I am and how this program came about. I've been an entrepreneur for nearly 15 years starting various ventures and projects. These include non-profit organizations, social-impact programs, food and beverage franchising, business development for tech startups and consulting for thought leadership startups. Through my experiences, I've seen common patterns of how and why businesses have failed and succeeded. And now when I encounter start-ups repeating the same problems it causes me to think: Could I do more to reduce the amount of stress and inefficiency often found in these spaces? So, this program is part of a larger initiative to create a more thriving life/work environment instead of accepting start-up chaos as the norm. Entrepreneurs already face an insurmountable amount of challenges, and coaches can truly become a confidant to bring about well-needed restoration.
The goal of this program is to prioritize creating impact for those we are coaching. If our clients are thriving, then their spaces of influence and decisions can come from a place of confident possibility instead of fear.
With that being said, I want to congratulate you on being accepted into this program, and beginning this adventure of becoming a Royal Telos Start-up and ICF ACC coach.
